Center Valley, PA (February 8, 2020) - The DeSales University women's basketball team saw five players score double digits leading the Bulldogs to their eighth straight win, 90-34, over Wilkes University in MAC Freedom action on Saturday afternoon.

• The win inches the Bulldogs extremely close to clinching a MAC Freedom playoff spot needing just one more win over its last four games to clinch a spot in the postseason tournament.
• DSU is currently tied atop the MAC Freedom standings with Misericordia in the quest for earning the top seed and home court advantage throughout the conference tournament.
• The win over the Colonels is the 46th straight the all-time series.

How it Happened

• DeSales wasted no time taking control in this one as it scored the first 25 points of the game, holding Wilkes without a point for the first 8:12 and without a field goal for the 9:06 of the game.
• The lead was 32 points at the half and peaked at 56 with the final score.

• Senior Molly Jansco led all scorers with a game-high 17 points and added seven rebounds and two blocks.
• Sophomore Averi Jordan had 15 points and also grabbed seven rebounds.
• Sophomore Samantha Shinkus and Rylie Rittenhouse each had 13 points.
• Sophomore Emma Stanfield also reached double figures with 11 points and added two blocks.

• Macy Berryman led the Colonels with nine points.
