Clermont, FL (March 9, 2020) - The DeSales University softball continued its winning ways winning its third and fourth straight with two more wins on day two of its spring trip to Florida.
Game One (W/10-4 vs. SUNY-Potsdam)
After falling behind 2-0 in the first inning, DSU put three runs on the board in both the first and second innings to take a 6-2 lead. SeniorÂ

Delaney Smith all had RBIs in the first inning and juniorÂ
Hallie Muffley had a two-RBI double and Suran a sacrifice fly in the second inning.
Leading 6-4 DSU then tacked on solo runs in each of the last four innings to take home the 10-4 win.
SophomoreÂ
Heather Hall earned her third win of the year going the distance allowing three earned runs and just five hits. Muffley finished 4-for-4 with three runs scored and three RBIs, Suran knocked in three runs, and seniorÂ
Erin Redden and Smith each had two hits.
Game Two (W/5-2 vs. Juniata)
A scoreless game into the fourth inning saw JC take a 2-0 lead after four frames.
The Bulldogs offense then woke up scoring twice in both the fifth and the sixth and adding an extra run in the seventh to take home the win.

Lily Trexler had RBIs in the fifth, sophomoreÂ
Caitlin Miller had a two-RBI single in the sixth, and Suran knocked in a run in the seventh.
Trexler finished 3-for-4 with a run scored and RBI and Miller had two hits and two RBIs to lead the offense.
JuniorÂ
Julia Testagrose earned the win, her first of the year, going seven innings allowing one earned and striking out five.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Tuesday when they take on Heidelberg and Case Western.
