Clermont, FL (March 12, 2020) - The DeSales University dropped two heartbreakers on the second to last day of its spring trip to Florida on Thursday morning.

Game One (L/1-2 vs. Ursinus)
DSU took a 1-0 lead in the top of the third inning when seniorÂ
Erin Redden doubled and scored two batters later on a throwing error from the Bears' third baseman.
Ursinus tied the game in the fourth and the game remained tied into the seventh inning.
DSU got a leadoff single from juniorÂ
Sam Napoli in the seventh but she was stranded at third.
The Bears also had a leadoff single and had runners on first and second with two outs when a ground ball to first base kicked off the first baseman's leg and bounced away far anough that the runner on second was able to scamper home just ahead of a tag with the game-winning run.

Heather Hall took the loss allowing just one earned run and seven hits. JuniorÂ
Hallie Muffley and Napoli each had two hits.
Game Two (L/1-2 vs. Wittenberg)
Both teams scored a solo run in the second inning and the game remained tied heading into the seventh inning.
In the top of the seventh, Wittenberg took advantage of two Bulldog errors to push home a run and DSU went quietly in the bottom half of the inning.

Shannon Hill took the loss allowing one earned run over seven innings. JuniorÂ
Reilly Kerr had three of DeSales' six hits.
The Bulldogs will wrap-up its trip Friday morning with games against Haverford and Mt. Union.
