Center Valley, PA (March 4, 2020) - The DeSales University softball team dropped both ends of a non-conference doubleheader falling to 10th ranked The College of New Jersey, 8-0 and 7-0, on Wednesday afternoon at McGettigan Park.
Game One (L/0-8) 
Trailing 1-0 in the fourth inning the Bulldogs surreneder seven runs in the fourth, including five unearned runs, as TCNJ took an 8-0 lead and never looked back.
DSU had just one base runner, sophomore 
Caitlyn Newsome, who drew a walk in the fourth inning.
Sophomore 
Julia Testagrose took the loss allowing three earned over 3 1/3 innings.
Game Two (L/0-7)
TCNJ scored twice in the second, fourth, and sixth innings and added a solo run in the seventh to post the final 7-0 margin.
Junior 
Reilly Kerr had DSU's lone hit, a single up the middle in the bottom of the seventh inning.
Sophomore 
Heather Hall took the loss allowing four runs over five innings.
The Bulldogs are back in action next week when they play 10 games over Spring Break down in Florida starting Sunday with their first two.
