"I could not be more excited to be back in the Lehigh Valley at such a prestigious University as DeSales, leading their women's soccer program", said DePaolo. "I would like to thank Scott Coval, Gracia Perilli, and the rest of the search committee, as well as the players who were involved in the decision. It is a privilege to have been selected. Leading a group of student-athletes with such apparent drive and commitment leaves me honored to be part of furthering the success of the program. DeSales athletics has an impressive departmental vision, with strong values and focus on the advancement of the student athlete. I share this same perspective and am beyond grateful to be part of the DeSales community."

"We are extremely pleased and excited to announce Anna-Kate DePaolo as our head women's soccer coach," Coval stated. "Anna-Kate's success as a player and a coach at the college level make her an excellent fit for our women's soccer program and DeSales University.  We are confident she has the ability to create a positive learning environment for our student-athletes and will provide the necessary leadership to build on our women's soccer teams recent success."

In addition to her experience with the Mules, DePaolo served as an ODP coach with the Eastern Pennsylvania Region, instructing U12 and U16 teams.  She also served as a coach with the ESF Camps in Philadelphia and the Lehigh Valley United U8/9 girls team.

As a student-athlete at IUP, DePaolo was four-year letterwinner as a defender and central midfielder, helping lead the Crimson Hawks to four straight winning seasons.  She holds an NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and USSF "D" and "E" licenses.
