Chalfont, PA (October 28, 2021) - The DeSales University volleyball team completed the MAC Freedom regular season with an unbeaten record after a 3-0 win over Delaware Valley University in MAC Freedom action on Thursday evening.

The Basics

• Final Score: DeSales - 3, Delaware Valley - 0 (25-13, 25-22, 25-15)
• Records: DeSales (17-11, 8-0 MAC Freedom); Delaware Valley (3-15, 0-8 MAC Freedom)
• DSU finishes the MAC Freedom regular season undefeated for the fourth time and the first time playing eight regular season matches.
• The Bulldogs have now won 18 straight over the Aggies and are 36-5 all-time vs. Del. Val.

How it Happened

• DSU opened the match with 15 first set kills and hit .324 to cruise to an opening set win.
• The Bulldogs then slammed 20 kills in the second set to overcome 10 hitting errors in a 25-22 win and finished off the Aggies never trailing in the third set.

Top Bulldog Performers

• Sophomore Shannon McDevitt finished with 14 kills and hit .636 for the match.
• Junior Delanie Zohler had eight kills and hit .263 and added nine digs.
• Sophomore Grace Grandinetti finished with 28 assists and nine digs.
• Junior McKenzie Brady finished with 17 digs.

• Delaware Valley got seven kills and eight digs from Olivia Deffendall.
