Tess Rodgers scored on a PK just 57 seconds into overtime lifting the DeSales University women's soccer team past Wilkes University, 2-1, in MAC Freedom action on Saturday clinching the #2 seed in the MAC Freedom postseason next week.

- DSU's win over Wilkes is its second straight in the series and improves the Bulldogs to 8-19-1 all-time vs. the Colonels.
How it Happened
- Wilkes struck first and took a 1-0 lead into the half on a goal in the 32nd minute that featured a 2-v-1 fastbreak with Madison Straub beating a charging DSU keeper inside the right post.
- DSU tied the game in the 52nd minute when junior Allie Trick received a centering pass in the middle of the box, turned, and beat the keeper inside the far post.
- DeSales had a ton of chances to take the lead in the second-half but were unable to connect sending the game into overtime.
- With less then a minute in the OT period, senior Meghan Corbran drew a penalty in the box and Rodgers scored the goal giving the Bulldogs the win.

- Trick tallied her team-leading 13th and senior Natalie Dorsheimer assisted on Trick's goal.

- Tatiana Mancera earned an assist on Straub's goal, her first of the season.
