Maddie Trocki scored a hat trick leading the DeSales University field hockey team past Delaware Valley University, 6-1, ending a five-game skid in MAC Freedom action on Friday evening.

- DSU got on the board first with about four minutes left in the opening quarter when junior Catie McGrath scored on a loose ball in front of the goalie.
- The two teams then combined for four goals in a span of 2:30 in the second quarter with the Bulldogs scoring three of them to take a 4-1 lead into the half.
- Trocki scored her third of the day five minutes into the second-half and junior Ashlee Jopp provided the exclamation point late in the fourth quarter.
