Matt Kachelries was honored on Monday morning being named the MAC Freedom Player of the Week as announced by the conference office.
Kachelries led the Bulldogs to two more wins to remain undefeated on the season. He had 13 points and four assists, including the game-clinching bucket, in the 85-81 win over The College of Old Westbury on Wednesday. Kachelries finished the week with 20 points and six assists in the win over Scranton on Saturday. For the week, he averaged 16.5 points, 5.0 assists, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals in the two games. He also shot an impressive 16-for-18 (88.9%) from the free throw line.
