Center Valley, PA (February 11, 2021) - Eleven different players reached the scoring column leading a balanced attack and the DeSales University women's basketball team past Wilkes University, 79-55, in the first game in nearly 11 months in MAC Freedom action on Thursday evening.

How it Happened
- DeSales led by just one late in the first quarter before scoring the final four points of the first stanza to take a 21-16 lead.
- It was an eight points game with 1:49 left in the half before a 3 from freshman Lindsey Welsh started a 10-4 run to end the half giving DSU a 41-27 halftime cushion.
- DSU scored the first six points of the second-half to build a 20-point advantage (47-27) and led by as many as 30 points on a lay-up from sophomore Grace Kelleher late in the quarter before cruising over the final 10 minutes for the win.
