Grantham, PA (March 18, 2021) - The DeSales University women's lacrosse team dropped its second game of the season at Messiah College, 18-2, on a rainy and cold Thursday afternoon in non-conference action.

How it Happened

• Messiah scored the first four goals of the game before DSU got on the board at the 24:00 minute mark.
• The Falcons took control from there scoring the last nine goals of the half to lead 13-1 at the break and the first four of the second-half before DSU scored its second of the game with 17:08 remaining.

Top Bulldog Performers

• Senior Eilis McCall and sophomore Tori Brennan scored DSU's two goals.
• Sophomore Kelsey Pogonyi had an assist on McCall's tally.
• Brennan also caused four turnovers and had three ground balls in the loss.
• Sophomore Marina Bradley finished with four draw controls.
• Senior Rachel Sheubrooks made 15 saves in net.

For the Foes

• Rachel Delate had four goals and three assists to lead all scorers.
• Abby Howard finished with three goals and two assists and Makenzie O'Haver also had five points with two goals and three assists.
• Hope Flack totaled two goals, two assists, and seven draw controls.
