Center Valley, PA (March 20, 2021) - The DeSales University women's tennis team opened its season with a 8-1 win over Arcadia University in non-conference action on a beautiful Saturday afternoon.

Doubles
DSU took a 2-1 lead taking the #2 and #3 doubles matches.  Juniors Kirsten Kosa and Bailey Greco earned an 8-3 win in the No. 2 spot and senior Sabrini Ricciardi and freshman Morgan Landau won 8-1 in the No. flight.

Singles
The Bulldogs swept all six singles matches to earn the 8-1 win.  Junior Annie Rakos and Kosa were both 6-2, 6-2 winners at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions.  Greco lost the first set but battled back to win 2-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-2).  Senior Alex Rodier earned a 6-0, 6-2 win in the No. 4 flight, Landau won, 6-3, 6-0 in the No. 5 and Ricciardi was a 6-0, 6-0 winner in the No. 6 spot.

The Bulldogs are back in action next Saturday traveling to Misericordia University for another non-conference match beginning at 11:00 am.
