Frederick, MD (March 27, 2021) - The DeSales University women's tennis team improved to 2-0 on the season with an 8-1 win over Hood College on Saturday afternoon.

Playing with just four players Hood was forced to forfeit one doubles match and two singles matches.

Doubles
In the #1 and #2 doubles flights, DSU split the two matches as juniors Bailey Greco and Kirsten Kosa were an 8-2 winner in the second flight.

Singles
DSU swept all four singles matches played.  Junior Annie Rakos was a 7-6 (7-5), 4-6, 1-0 (10-6) winner in the #1 flight, Kosa earned a 6-0, 6-2 win at the No. 2 flight, and Greco and senior Alex Rodier won 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 3 and 4 flights.
