Wilkes-Barre, PA (April 10, 2021) - King's College scored the final three goals of the game, including the game-winner with 1:09 left, handing the DeSales University women's lacrosse team a 12-11 loss in MAC Freedom play on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened
- This game was tight the entire way as neither team had more than a two goal lead at anytime.
- After King's took a 4-2 lead midway thru the first-half, DSU scored three straight goals to take its first lead of the game, 5-4, with 7:56 left to play.
- The Monarchs responded with three straight of their own to take a 7-5 lead into the halftime locker room.
- The Bulldogs came out firing in the second-half scoring the first four goals, including the final two from senior Sydney MacDonough to take a 9-7 lead with 15:41 left.
- King's tied the game at nine but DSU scored two straight to reclaim a two-goal lead (11-9) with 6:54 left.
- The Monarchs got within one at the 5:42 mark and tied the game at 11 with 2:49 on the clock.
- King's then got the game-winner with 1:09 to go and DeSales was unable to force overtime.
