Dallas, PA (April 14, 2021) - The DeSales University women's lacrosse team dropped its third straight game falling at Misericordia University, 18-6, in MAC Freedom action on Wednesday evening.

How it Happened

• The Bulldogs started strong opening up a 1-0 and 2-1 lead and after a goal from senior Karlie Deeck the game was tied at three midway thru the first half.
• The Cougars then scored six straight goals to take a 9-3 lead and led 10-5 at the break.
• The second-half was all Misericordia as DeSales managed just one goal before the final tally was posted.

Top Bulldog Performers

• Sophomore Tori Brennan led the Bulldogs with three goals.
• Deeck finished with a goal and an assist.
• Junior Amanda Schultz and sophomore Kelsey Pogonyi each had a goal and sophomore Marina Bradley finished with an assist and four draw controls.
• Senior Rachel Sheubrooks made 13 saves in goal.

For the Foes

• Michelle Torzilli led the Cougars with five goals.
• Justine Johnson finished with four goals and three assists.
• Emily Connell had three assists and Alyssa Delgadillo, Taylor Hannaberry, and Genevieve Montany each finished with two goals and two helpers.
