Women's Lacrosse Rolls Past Delaware Valley, 22-7; Bradley and McCall Each Score Five Goals

Center Valley, PA (April 17, 2021) - Sophomore Marina Bradley and senior Eilis McCall each scored five goals leading the DeSales University women's lacrosse team past Delaware Valley University, 22-7, in MAC Freedom action on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened
  • DeSales opened the game with three straight goals over the first three minutes of the game to take a 3-0 lead before the Aggies scored two straight to get within one (3-2).
  • It was a 5-3 game at the 12:13 mark when the Bulldogs scored seven straight goals before DVU got one before the half as DSU went into the halftime break with a 12-4 lead.
  • DSU continued to lead by eight goals with 17:09 left before finishing the game with seven straight tallies to post the final tally.

  • Bradley reocrded the fifth most points in a game in team history adding three assists for eight points and also had four draw controls.
  • McCall added one assist for six points.
  • Sophomore Tori Brennan had four goals and led DSU with eight draw controls.

  • Senior Sydney MacDonough and sophomore Kelsey Pogonyi each had two goals and junior Azlin Myers had one goal.
  • Senior Rachel Sheubrooks finished with seven saves in the win.
