Madison, NJ (April 21, 2021) - The DeSales University women's lacrosse team started quickly but fell to conference unbeaten FDU-Florham, 19-3, in MAC Freedom action on Wednesday evening.

How it Happened

• DeSales scored the first goal of the game, 49 seconds into the contest, and senior Eilis McCall fed junior Marina Bradley and DSU held the lead for the first three and a half minutes before the Devils scored three straight in a span of 52 seconds to take a 3-1 lead.
• DSU got one goal back just 47 seconds later as Bradley and McCall connected for a second time but it was all Devils after that.
• FDU scored 10 straight to finish up the first-half lead 13-2 and out-scored the Bulldogs 6-1 in the second-half for the final tally.

Top Bulldog Performers

• Sophomore Kelsey Pogonyi scored DSU's third goal.
• Junior Azlin Myers led the way with five draw controls.
• Senior Rachel Sheubrooks made 12 saves in goal.

• Katie Walsh had six goals and one assist for seven points.
• Kylee Garcia scored four times and Madison Wood had two goals and two assists.
