Reading, PA (April 23, 2021) - The DeSales University women's lacrosse team dropped its regular season finale on Friday evening, 18-7, at Alvernia University in non-conference action.

How it Happened

• Alvernia jumped all over the Bulldogs in this one scoring the game's first nine goals to take a 9-0 lead and led 13-1 before DSU scored the final two goals of the first-half to pull within 10 tallies (13-3) at the break.
• The Golden Wolves got the first two goals of the second-half and cruised the rest of the way.

Top Bulldog Performers

• Junior Amanda Schultz led the offense with two goals and an assist for three points.
• Sophomore Tori Brennan and senior Eilis McCall each scored twice.
• Sophomore Marina Bradley had one goal and equaled junior Azlin Myers with four draw controls each.
• Senior Rachel Sheubrooks made five saves and freshman Allison Darcy had four stops in goal.

For the Foes

• Erika Whitmoyer finished with six goals and three assists to lead all scorers.
• Haleigh Lackner had four goals and two assists and Hannah Chadwick finished with three goals and one assist.
• Meagan Moky totaled six draw controls.
