Center Valley, PA (April 14, 2021) - The DeSales University baseball team saw its record tying 14-game win streak come to an end dropping both ends of a MAC Freedom doubleheader with Arcadia University on Wednesday evening.

Robert Lamm and four runs in the fourth inning including a two-run double from seniorÂ
Hunter Spalt and two-run home run from sophomoreÂ
Thomas Carpenter gave the hosts a 5-2 lead.
That lead stood into the sixth inning when the Bulldog bullpen gave up four walks and four hits in the top of the sixth inning leading to six runs as the Knights added three more unearned runs in the seventh to snap DSU's win streak at 14.
JuniorÂ
Will Manley took the loss allowing five runs over one inning of relief.
Carpenter finished 2-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBIs, Lamm had two hits, and Spalt had two hits to lead the offense.
Game Two (L/5-13)

The Bulldogs added three more in the fifth to take that 5-1 lead thanks to an Arcadia error, catchers interference, a walk, a strikeout wild pitch, and bunt single.
The Knight rally in the sixth once again started with two walks and a hit batter that snow balled into four runs in the sixth, another four in the seventh, and four more in the ninth to provide the final tally.
SophomoreÂ

SeniorÂ
Sergio Diaz and Zavorski each had two hits in game two.
