Men's Lacrosse Returns to Action with 12-3 Win at Delaware Valley

Doylestown, PA (April 19, 2021) - The DeSales University men's lacrosse team returned to action this afternoon, staying unbeaten in MAC Freedom play with a 12-3 win at Delaware Valley University.

How it Happened
  • Playing for the first time since March 31st, the Bulldogs wasted no time taking control scoring the first 10 goals of the game to take a 9-0 lead into the halftime locker room and scoring first in the second-half.
  • The lead peaked at 12-1 before the Aggies scored two late goals to provide the final margin.
Top Bulldog Performers
  • Junior Tom Connors returned to the lineup from injury to score four goals and two assists for six points.
  • Sophomore Beau Neff added two goals and three assists for five points.
  • Junior Kai Taylor, sophomore Zach Broomall, and freshman Chase Bowman each scored two assists and senior Dylan Valinchus added an assist.
  • Junior Chase Yoder finished with 10 ground balls and winning 13-of-19 face-offs.
  • Freshman Quinten Lyons had eight saves and senior Vince Maria caused three turnovers.
For the Foes
  • Brandon Keller had two goals and Matt Waibel scored once in the loss.
  • Brett Ziegler finished with one assist.
  • Jim Murphy made 13 saves in goal.
