Hoboken, NJ (April 21, 2021) - The DeSales University men's lacrosse team dropped its first MAC Freedom game of the season, 20-3, at Stevens Institute of Technology on Wednesday evening.

The Basics

• Records: DeSales (5-3, 4-1 MAC Freedom); Stevens (8-2, 8-0 MAC Freedom)
• Stevens is now the only undefeated team in the MAC Freedom and takes sole possession of first place.

How it Happened

• Stevens scored the first six goals of the game before DSU got on the board with 4:13 left in the opening half.
• The Ducks led by seven (8-1) at the half and put the exclamation point on the win with eight third quarter goals to lead 16-1 entering the final quarter.

• Junior Kai Taylor led the Bulldogs with two goals and sophomore Domenic Maria tallied the third goal.
• Freshman Pat Wixted had an assist in the loss.
• Senior Vince Maria had three caused turnovers.
• Junior Chase Yoder won 11-of-25 face-offs.
• Freshman Quinten Lyons made 19 saves in goal.

For the Foes

• Ryan Gebhardt had three goals and three assists.
• Jack Savarese finished with four goals and Michael Burns rounded out the scoring leaders with two goals and two assists.
• Larry Park won 12-of-20 faceoffs and had seven ground balls.
