Center Valley, PA (April 7, 2021) - The DeSales University women's lacrosse team returned to action for the first time in 15 days falling to Stevens Institute of Technology, 18-3, in MAC Freedom action on Wednesday afternoon.

How it Happened

• The Ducks took advantage of DSU's long layoff early in this one scoring the first 14 goals of the game to take a 14-0 lead at the half.
• DSU scored the first two goals of the second half and played an evenly matched second-half but it wasn't enough in the loss.

Top Bulldog Performers

• Sophomore Tori Brennan scored two goals and had two draw controls to lead the Bulldogs.
• Senior Eilis McCall also scored and sophomore Marina Bradley had two helpers in the loss.
• Senior Rachel Sheubrooks made eight saves in goal.

For the Foes

• Zoe Cook (3g, 2a) and Camryn Rogers (4g, 1a) each had five points in the win for the Ducks.
• Natalie Fitzpatrick finished with three goals and one assist.
• Kyra Bednarski had two goals and one assist.
• Maris Daly won nine draw controls.

Inside the Box Score

• Stevens out-shot DeSales, 27-9, and had a slim 15-13 edge in ground balls.
