Stevenson, MD (September 18, 2021) - The DeSales University women's soccer team earned its sixth straight win to start the 2021 season with a 1-0 win at Stevenson University on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened

• After a scoreless first-half that saw DSU take six of the seven shots in the opening half.
• The Bulldogs got on the board just 1:26 into the second-half when senior Meghan Corbran sent a corner kick feed to the back post where senior Gabby Torchia headed the ball into the net for the game's only goal.

• It was Torchia's second goal of the year, both of which are game-winners in 1-0 wins.
• Corbran earns her first assist of the season.
• Sophomore Hannah Pacheco didn't need to make a save earning the shutout.

• Keegan Caffrey had 11 saves for the Mustangs.
