Center Valley, PA (October 15, 2022) - The DeSales University men's soccer team let a 1-0 halftime lead slip away as Albright College scored twice in the second-half to spoil homecoming in a 2-1 loss on Saturday afternoon.

• The loss is the first-ever vs. Albright at home and snaps an eight-game win streak vs. the Lions as DSU is 9-2 all-time vs. AC after today's game.

How it Happened

• DSU took a 1-0 lead that stood into the half as first-year Owen Maher scored off a terrific pass from junior Eric Clouse.
• Albright got its tying goal just 7:10 into the second half.
• The game seemed destined for a wild finish and the possiblity of a tie before AC struck in the 85th minute as a free kick sent into the box was quickly touched by two Lions and then sent into the net after a wild scramble in front and DeSales was unable to get another goal.

• Maher's goal was his seventh of the season.
• Sophomore Elias Marshall made his first-ever start in goal totaling two saves.

• John Villano and Noah Raimonde each scored for Albright.
• Villano added an assist.
• Cooper Walters had four saves in goal.
