Tyra Wingle tied the single-game record for goals and tied the all-time record scoring four times leading the DeSales University field hockey team to a 5-0 win over FDU-Florham clinching a spot in the MAC Freedom postseason on homecoming Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened
- After a scoreless first quarter, DSU took a 1-0 lead when first-year Nikki Chiaradia scored unassisted 3:45 into the second quarter.
- Wingle went to work in the second-half scoring four times including just 1:55 into third quarter.
- She added one more in the third and scored twice in the fourth quarter to provide the final tally.

- Wingle becomes the fourth player in team history to score four goals in a game.
- She now has 39 career goals tying her with Jamie Matthews for the all-time lead.
- Wingles also moves into second place all-time with 93 career points.
- Chiaradia, senior Catie McGrath, first-year Angelina Day, and senior Sarah Peterson all had assists on Wingle's four goals.
- Junior Kayla Yeatman made one save to tie the single-season record with her sixth shutout of the year.

- Emily Prachthauser had five saves and Emily Schlessinger made four saves in goal for the Devils.
