Center Valley, PA (October 15, 2022) - The DeSales University women's soccer team scored five times, four in the second-half, routing Albright College, 5-0, in non-conference action on homecoming Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened
- A scoreless game stood into the 38th minute when sophomore Emma Ribeiro scored on a blast into the upper 90 inside the far post from about 25 yards out giving DSU an eventual 1-0 halftime lead.
- The flood gates were opened in the second-half as DSU scored four times including two goals in the span 2:08 in the 51st and 53rd minutes by senior Allie Trick and senior Katie Padgett.
- Juniors Elizabeth McCarthy and Holly McFarland each scored later in the game to provide the final tally.
Top Bulldog Performers
- Ribeiro now has a team-high eight goals to lead the Bulldogs in scoring.
- Trick tallied her fifth goal of the season, while McCarthy and McFarland both scored their second markers of the year.
- Padgett's goal was her first of the season.
- First-year Madison O'Connor, senior Cassidy Klein, and first-year Lexi Bleam all had assists in the win.
- Junior Hannah Pacheco and sophomore Katey Kunz combined to record the shutout, DSU's seventh shutout of the season, fourth most in a season.
For the Foes
- Alexis Solt had five saves, McKenna Levan made three saves, and Haley Cowell had one save for the Lions.
