Annville, PA (November 13, 2022) - The DeSales University women's basketball team took home the Rinso Marquette Tip-off Tournament title at Lebanon Valley College on Sunday after an 85-41 win over PSU-Schuylkill.

How it Happened

• DeSales opened up a nine-point lead after one quarter of play before the Nittany Lions closed to within one point after scoring the first eight points of the second quarter.
• It was all Bulldogs from there as DSU used a 15-2 run to take a 32-18 lead and led by 12 (34-22) at the break.
• DSU dominated the third quarter out-scoring PSU-Schuylkill, 26-5, in the third quarter and never looked back in the fourth quarter.

• Junior Mikaela Reese led the team with 16 points and pulled down seven rebounds.
• Senior Megan Bealer finished with 15 points and five steals.
• Both Reese (MVP) and Bealer were named to the All-Tournament team over the weekend.
• Junior Amelia Saunders had 12 points and seven steals off the bench.
• First-Year Mikaili Donmoyer totaled 10 points, hitting 2 3's.

• Desiree Ellison had a game-high 17 points for the Nittany Lions.
