Defense Carries Bulldogs in Senior Day Win over Lycoming, 76-38

Center Valley, PA (February 19, 2022) - The DeSales University men's basketball team held Lycoming College to just 38 points in a 76-38 win over the Warriors on senior day in the MAC Freedom regular season finale in Billera Hall on Saturday afternoon.

  • A close game early saw DSU leading by eight (21-13) before the Bulldogs dominated the final 8:12 of the first half out-scoring the Warriors, 18-2, to take a 39-15 halftime lead.
  • DeSales held Lycoming scoreless for more than seven minutes to end the first-half.
  • The second-half was more of the same as the Bulldogs led by 20+ the entire half and pushed the margin to as many as 39 points before the final tally was posted.

  • Mo Terry was the lone Warrior in double figures with 14 points.
