Center Valley, PA (February 19, 2022) - The DeSales University men's basketball team held Lycoming College to just 38 points in a 76-38 win over the Warriors on senior day in the MAC Freedom regular season finale in Billera Hall on Saturday afternoon.

• The win gives DSU a sweep of the season series and moves the Bulldogs to 17-15 all-time vs. the Warriors.

How it Happened

• A close game early saw DSU leading by eight (21-13) before the Bulldogs dominated the final 8:12 of the first half out-scoring the Warriors, 18-2, to take a 39-15 halftime lead.
• DeSales held Lycoming scoreless for more than seven minutes to end the first-half.
• The second-half was more of the same as the Bulldogs led by 20+ the entire half and pushed the margin to as many as 39 points before the final tally was posted.

Top Bulldog Performers

• Senior Timmy Edwards led all scorers with 14 points.
• Sophomore Christian Guldin came off the bench to hit four 3's and total 12 points.
• Senior Dat Lambert also had double digits with 10 points.
• Senior Matt Kachelries finished with nine assists.

For the Foes

• Mo Terry was the lone Warrior in double figures with 14 points.

• DeSales shot an even 50.0 percent from the field, while holding Lycoming to just 33.3 percent from the field.
• The Bulldogs controlled the glass out-rebounding Lycoming, 42-24, and out-scoring LC, 48-18, in the paint.
