Salisbury, MD (February 20, 2022) - The DeSales University softball team team dropped both ends of a doubleheader at Salisbury University on Sunday afternoon finishing its four-game opening weekend trip down south.
Game One (L/1-9)
DSU took a 1-0 lead in this one on an RBI double from juniorÂ
Olivia Ondrejca before Salisbury got the run back in the bottom half of the inning.
The game remained tied at one into the fourth when the Seagulls scored four in both the fourth and fifth innings to take game one.

Madison Kelly had DSU's two hits.
Game Two (L/0-9)
Salisbury jumped out quickly in game two scoring four times in the first and five times in the second inning to take a 9-0 lead and never looked back.

Tabitha Lawless pitched very well in relief allowing just one hit and striking out two in 2 1/3 innings pitched.
DeSales returns to action on Tuesday, March 1st when they travel to The College of New Jersey for another non-conference doubleheader.
