Box Score 1 Ewing, NJ (March 2, 2022) - The DeSales University softball team dropped the first game of a non-conference doubleheader at TCNJ, 4-2, before the second game was suspended due to darkness with DeSales trailing 5-1 on Wednesday afternoon.

TCNJ took a 3-0 lead in the first inning before the Bulldogs fought back with runs in the fifth and sixth to pull within a run before the Lions tallied one more in the bottom of the sixth.

Alanna Hartzell took the loss allowing four runs over six innings. JuniorÂ
Kayleigh Ferraro hit a solo home run in the loss and juniorÂ
Nicole Secara had two hits in game one.
The Bulldogs are back in action next week when they play eight games during Spring Break beginning with two on Sunday.
