Lancaster, PA (February 23, 2022) - The DeSales University men's lacrosse team suffered its first loss of the season falling at #9 Franklin & Marshall, 19-6, on Wednesday afternoon.

• Records: DeSales (1-1); Franklin & Marshall (2-0)
• This was the first-ever meeting between the two teams.

How it Happened

• The Diplomats jumped out early in this one scoring the game's first 10 goals to take a 10-0 lead with 6:27 to go in the second quarter.
• DSU scored two of the next three goals to pull within 11-2, but F&M scored three goals over the final 53 seconds of the second quarter to take a 14-2 into halftime and never looked back in the second-half.

• Senior Zach Bowen, senior Kurtis King, and sophomore Luke Wilson each had one goal and one assist.
• Junior Beau Neff handed out two assists.
• Graduate student Jalen Holmes and sophomores TJ Herron and Chase Bowman each had one goal.

• Junior Chris Gray had 13 saves in goal.

• Kai Kelly finished with five goals and an assist.
• AJ Rigsby totaled three goals and four assists.
