Bethlehem, PA (March 23, 2022) - The DeSales University men's lacrosse team scored five goals in the span of 2:18 opening up a 7-2 and never looked back in a 15-11 win over local rival Moravian University on Wednesday evening.

How it Happened

• DSU took a 2-0 lead to start the game before Moravian scored two straight to tie it at two.
• The Bulldogs scored with 23 seconds left in the first quarter and that momentum carried into the second quarter.
• DeSales scored four more times over the first 1:55 of the second quarter to take a 7-2 lead and the two teams traded two goals giving DSU a 9-4 hafltime lead.
• It was a 10-6 game mid-way thru the third quarter when the Bulldogs scored three straight to take a 13-6 and never looked back from there.

• Senior Zach Bowen had three goals and two assists and first-year Jake Fratarcangeli added two goals and three assists to lead the way.
• Junior Beau Neff had two goals and two assists and sophomore Pat Schuett finished with two goals and one assist.
• Sophomore Luke Wilson had two goals.
• First-year Nate Perry, sophomore Pat Wixted, first-year Anthony Gash, and sophomore Christian Chiulli all had one goal.
• Gash won 18-of-25 face-offs and had 14 ground balls.
• Sophomore Quinten Lyons made 10 saves in goal.

For the Foes

• Connor James had five goals.
• Trevor Dzama finished with two goals and three assists.
• Thomas Lee totaled seven saves in goal.
