Women's Lacrosse Dominates Delaware Valley, 18-3; Clinches Postseason Berth

Doylestown, PA (April 30, 2022) - Junior Marina Bradley broke the single-game record for points with six goals and six assists leading the DeSales University women's lacrosse team past Delaware Valley University, 18-3, in MAC Freedom action on Saturday afternoon.

  • It is DSU's fourth straight win over the Aggies as DeSales moves to 4-1 all-time vs. the Aggies.
  • With the win and Arcadia's loss to Misericordia and Lycoming's loss to Stevens, DSU earns the #5 seed in the MAC Freedom postseason tournament and will travel to Lycoming College for the quarterfinals on Monday evening.
  • It marks the third straight season DSU has qualified for the MAC Freedom postseason.
How it Happened
  • DeSales never looked back in this one scoring the first six goals of the game and taking a 13-2 lead into the halftime locker room.
  • The lead never went below 11 in the second-half before the Bulldogs posted the final margin.

  • Bradley broke the previous record of 10 points in a game with her 12-point effort.
  • Sophomore Hayley Petrosini and junior MacKenzie Schroeder each had three goals.
  • First-year Meagan Landers and first-year Jess Brey each had two goals and one assist, while junior Dani Towey had a goal and two assists.
  • Brey added seven draw controls and Bradley and Landers each had six.
