Center Valley, PA (May 3, 2022) - The DeSales University baseball team dropped its final home game of the season falling to Salisbury University, 14-2, in non-conference action on Tuesday evening at Weiland Park.

The Seagulls took the lead for good in the top of the second inning and it was still a close game (4-1) thru six innings when Salisbury blew the game open with four runs in the seventh, three in the eighth, and three more in the ninth.

Alex Chase took the loss allowing three earned runs over three innings pitched. First-yearÂ
Matt Gehris also pitched well allowing just one run over 2 1/3 innings, striking out three.
The Bulldogs are back in action on Friday when they open its three-game semifinal MAC Freedom series at Arcadia University.
