Center Valley, PA (September 10, 2022) - The DeSales University men's soccer team earned its first win of the 2022 season with a 2-0 shutout of Bryn Athyn College in the home opener on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened

• DSU dominated possession for much of the game and got on the board in the 11th minute when first-year Kevin Krall flicked a centering pass backwards over the GK's head for the first goal of the game.
• That lead stood into the half and throughout much of the second-half before fellow first-year Jason Trivisonno had a spectacular goal where he shook both a BAC defender and goalie in the box creating a wide open net where he scored his first goal of his career to provide some insurance for the Bulldogs.

• The goals were the first of both Krall and Trivisonno's career.
• Junior Batur Yaman earned an assist on Krall's marker.
• Senior Nathan Hatzfeld made two saves to earn the shutout win in goal.

For the Foes

• Troy Billingslea made 11 saves for Bryn Athyn.

• DeSales held a 20-6 advantage in shots and a 13-2 edge in shots on goal.
• The Bulldogs also had a 9-3 lead in corner kicks.
