Haverford, PA (September 13, 2022) - Senior Meghan Foley scored two goals leading the DeSales University women's soccer team to a 2-1 win at Haverford College on Tuesday evening.

The Basics

• Records: DeSales (3-1-1 overall); Haverford (3-1-1 overall)
• This was DSU's first-ever win over the Fords in five career meetings and the first since the 2016 season.

How it Happened

• Haverford opened the scoring 12:02 into the game to take a 1-0 lead.
• It took DSU just 1:53 to tie the game as Foley scored her first of the game on a bullet inside the left post from just inside the 18.
• Less than two minutes later it was Foley again giving DSU the lead for good in the 16th minute flicking home a centering pass from fellow senior Allie Trick.

• The goals were Foley's team leading third and fourth of the season.
• In addition to Trick, junior Holly McFarland had an assist for the Bulldogs.
• Junior Hannah Pacheco made six saves in goal for DeSales.
