Center Valley, PA (September 20, 2022) - The DeSales University field hockey team scored the game's first goal but #8 Kean scored five straight to take home a 5-2 win in non-conference action on Tuesday evening.

How it Happened

• DeSales claimed a 1-0 lead when senior Grace DeThomas scored on a penalty stroke just 6:03 into the game.
• That lead stood into the second quarter before Kean scored three times in the span of 4:34 to take a 3-1 lead into the half.
• The Cougars added two more goals with one late in the third quarter and another to start the fourth quarter.
• DSU got one more in the 51st minute when first-year Angelina Day scored on a penalty stroke.
