Scranton, PA (September 27, 2022) - Senior Tyra Wingle scored both goals leading the DeSales University field hockey team past Marywood University in non-conference play on Tuesday evening.

  • Tonight's game was the first between the two teams since the 2017 season as DSU improves its all-time mark vs. the Pacers to 9-2.
How it Happened
  • DeSales took a 1-0 lead just 3:10 into the game as Wingle scored off a centering feed from fellow senior Caroline McGrath.
  • The Bulldogs got their insurance goal 2:34 into the second quarter as Wingle struck again, this time off a pass from first-year Jordyne Stong.
  • That was all DSU needed, holding the Pacers to just three second-half shots.
