Wayne, NJ (October 13, 2023) - The DeSales University volleyball team fell short falling at William Paterson University, 3-0, in non-conference action on Thursday evening.

DSU struggled in each of the first two sets hitting negative in each set as the Pioneers posted back-to-back 25-11 wins.

The third set was tight featuring seven ties and four lead changes. The set was tied at 18 when WPU scored three straight to take a 21-18 lead and then finished the set with four straight points at 21-19 to take home the match.

Senior Delanie Zohler led the charge with five kills and added nine digs. Senior Emma Notarfrancesco and senior Mykenah Calder each had 12 digs.

The Bulldogs are off this weekend and return to action with a big MAC Freedom match vs. Misericordia University on Wednesday, October 18th beginning at 7:00 pm.
