Center Valley, PA (October 4, 2023) - The DeSales University field hockey team fell to Marywood University, 2-1, in non-conference action on Wednesday evening.

How it Happened

• DeSales scored first with 1:41 left in the opening quarter as senior Maddie Trocki scored unassisted.
• Marywood tied the game at one 2:30 into the second quarter on a goal from Dariane Jones.
• The Pacers took the one goal lead with just 18 seconds left in the opening half as a long pass to a cherry picking Cydney Lahr saw her beat the Bulldog keeper 1-v-1 to make it a 2-1 game.
• Neither team was able to get on the board in the second-half as Marywood held on for the win.

• Senior Kayla Yeatman had seven saves and senior Alexis Armstrong also had a defensive save.
