#21 Bulldogs Roll Past Immaculata for Sixth Straight Win

Center Valley, PA (December 2, 2023) - The #21 DeSales University women's basketball team won its sixth straight game rolling past Immaculata University, 70-48, in the 2023-24 season home opener on Saturday afternoon.

  • The game was tight over the first six minutes with DeSales clinging to a two-point advantage (13-11).
  • The Bulldogs used a 10-0 run after that to take a 23-11 lead and led by 14 after one quarter of play.
  • Neither team shot well in the second quarter as DSU extended its advantage to 17 points entering the halftime locker room.
  • DeSales dominated the third quarter out-scoring IU, 22-8 to lead by as many as 32 points before the final tally of 22 points.

  • Senior Lindsey Welsh had 15 points and fellow senior Mikaela Reese totaled 12 points, nine boards, and four blocks.
  • Sophomore Mikaili Donmoyer finished with eight points and three helpers.

  • Abigail Lentowski had 12 points and Abigail Boyer finished with 11 points in the loss.
