Washington, DC (February 24, 2023) - The DeSales University baseball team dropped its 2023 season opener, 5-0, at Marymount University on Friday afternoon in non-conference action.

Jared Drake took the loss on the hill allowing just three runs over four innings, striking out four, and walking one.
Marymount scored solo runs in the second, third, fourth, seventh, and eighth innings.
DSU's lone hit came in the first inning with two outs, a single off the bat of first-yearÂ
Carson Allison.
The Bulldogs are back in action tomorrow when they take on Nichols College at Methodist University beginning at 6:00 pm.
