Center Valley, PA (March 17, 2023) - The DeSales University women's lacrosse team out-scored Maritime College, 8-5, in the second-half to hand the Privateers their first loss of the season, 15-14, in non-conference action on Friday evening.

How it Happened
- This game was back-and-forth the entire way as neither team led by more than three goals at anytime.
- DSU held a 4-3 lead after one quarter of play before Maritime controlled the second quarter out-scoring DeSales, 6-3, including three straight goals to end the half and take a 9-7 lead into the halftime locker room.
- After trading goals to start the third quarter the Bulldogs scored four straight to take a 12-10.
- The Privateers got within one to end the third quarter and scored first in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 12.
- Senior Marina Bradley gave DSU the lead for good just eight seconds later starting a string of three straight goals giving DSU a 15-12 lead and the Bulldogs held on from there.
