Grantham, PA (March 18, 2023) - The DeSales University men's tennis team opened up the spring season schedule with a 6-3 win at Messiah University on Saturday afternoon.
Doubles
The Bulldogs took a 2-1 lead after doubles competition as juniorsÂ
Augie Citrone andÂ
Philip Ritchie earned an 8-1 win at the No. 1 spot andÂ
Aidon Kiernan and seniorÂ
Will Pollick earned an 8-4 win in the No. 2 spot.
SinglesÂ
DSU clinched the win with four singles wins at the No. 2, 3, 5, and 6 flights. Ritchie was a 6-1, 6-0 winner at the No. 2 spot and Kiernan won 6-1, 7-5 at the No. 3 spot. Pollick took home a 6-1, 6-4 win at the No. 5 spot and seniorÂ
Thomas Blomquist was a 6-4, 6-3 winner at the No. 6 spot.
DeSales is back in action on Friday when they travel to Dickinson College beginning at 4:00 pm.
