Arlington, VA (March 25, 2023) - The DeSales University women's lacrosse team fell behind 6-1 after one quarter of play and was unable to recover in a 22-15 loss at Marymount University on Saturday afternoon.

How it Happened

• Marymount out-scored DeSales 6-1 in the first quarter to take control of the game.
• The Bulldogs scored the first two goals of the second quarter to get within three and finished the half with three straight goals to trail by just three (10-7).
• The Saints regained control to start the second half scoring six of the first seven goals to take a 16-8 lead.
• DeSales showed no quit scoring four straight to trailed by just four (16-12) early in the fourth quarter but Marymount answered with five straight to lead 21-12 and never looked back from there.

• First-year Hailey Linebaugh and sophomore Jess Brey each scored once.
• Sophomore Michaela Regan (5) and first-year Nicole Minelli (7) combined for 12 saves.

• Ella Baker had six goals and Emily Peters tallied five goals.
