Williamsport, PA (March 26, 2023) - The DeSales University softball team dropped both ends of a MAC Freedom doubleheader at Lycoming College on Sunday afternoon falling 9-1 in game one and 3-1 in game two.
Game One (L/1-9)
DSU took a 1-0 lead in the first inning scoring on a Warriors error and continued to lead 1-0 into the bottom of the third inning when Lycoming scored twice to take a 2-1 lead.
LC added two more runs in the fourth and put the game away with five runs in the bottom of the fifth inning.

Kylie Bryant had DSU's two hits in the loss.
Game Two (L/1-3)
The Warriors scored an unearned run in the first and two more unearned runs in the third inning to take a 3-0 lead.
DSU got a run back in the sixth on an RBI single from first-yearÂ
Camryn Coates but were unable to get any closer.

Kyleigh Ferraro had two hits to lead the Bulldogs. JuniorÂ
Alanna Hartzell took the loss allowing three unearned runs over six innings, striking out four.
The Bulldogs are back on the diamond on Friday when they host Neumann University in a non-conference doubleheader beginning at 3:00 pm.
