Weehawken, NJ (April 2, 2023) - The DeSales University softball team earned a split of a MAC Freedom doubleheader at Stevens on Sunday afternoon winning game two 6-3 after a hard fought 6-5 loss in game one.
Game One (L/5-6)
Stevens scored runs in the first, third, and fourth innings to take a 6-0 lead and seemed to be rolling toward a game one win as the Bulldogs did not have a base runner thru the first five innings.

SophomoreÂ
Tabitha Lawless had a strong outing in the circle in relief tossing 2 2/3 scoreless, striking out one.
Game Two (W/6-3)
DSU rode that end of game one momentum to take a 5-0 lead with three runs in the first and two runs in the second inning.
In the first seniorÂ
