Center Valley, PA (March 30, 2023) - The DeSales University women's tennis team earned its second straight win blanking PSU-Berks, 9-0, in non-conference action on Thursday afternoon.
Doubles
DSU swept all three doubles matches to get off to a 3-0 lead. JuniorÂ
Morgan Landau teamed with sophomoreÂ
Nyah Tomlinson to win 8-4 in the No. 1 spot, juniorÂ
Hope Hoppe and sophomoreÂ
Alyssa Vandenberge earned an 8-1 win in the No. 2 position, and juniorÂ
Lindsay Shoemaker paired with first-yearÂ
Tara Clark to win 8-1 in the No. 3 flight.
Singles
Landau earned a win at the No. 1 spot, 6-3, 6-2, Tomlinson was a 6-2, 6-3 winner in the No. 2 flight, and Vandenberge won 6-4, 6-0 in the No. 3 position. Hoppe won 6-3, 6-0 in the No. 4 place in the lineup, Shoemaker earned a 6-1, 6-1 win in the No. 5 spot, and Clark won 6-1, 6-3 in the No. 6 position.
The Bulldogs are scheduled to be back in action on Saturday when they travel to Misericordia University beginning at 11:00 am.
