Center Valley, PA (March 31, 2023) - The DeSales University baseball team dropped the first game of the three-game weekend set with Arcadia University, 9-2, on Friday afternoon at Weiland Park.
Arcadia took a 1-0 lead in the third inning and led 4-0 after scoring three times in the fifth inning.
DSU got one run back in the bottom of the sixth when sophomoreÂ
Gabe Diaz scored on a double steal to trail 4-1.
The Knights broke the game open in the top of the eighth scoring five times before the Bulldogs added a solo run in the bottom of the eighth inning.

Travis Kerr each had two hits in the loss.
These two teams will wrap-up the weekend set with a MAC Freedom doubleheader on Sunday beginning at Noon.
