Collegeville, PA (March 4, 2023) - The DeSales University men's lacrosse team lost a defensive battle falling to #19 Ursinus College, 10-3, in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon.

• Today's game was the first-ever meeting between the two teams.

How it Happened

• Ursinus scored the first four goals of the game to take a 4-0 lead.
• The Bulldogs got one back to end the first quarter and after trailing 5-1 near the end of the second quarter, DSU scored twice over the final minute to race into the halftime locker room trailing by just two goals (5-3).
• The second-half was all Bears as DeSales was unable to find the back of the net with UC scoring three times in the third quarter and twice more in the fourth quarter.

• Senior Beau Neff and juniors TJ Herron and Chase Bowman scored DSU's three goals.
• Junior Colin Adams had an assist.
• Senior Zach Broomall won 8-of-16 face-offs and had four ground balls.
• Junior Quinten Lyons was solid in goal making 18 saves.

• Tyler Neal had four goals and two assists for the Bears.
• Christopher Pucciar added two goals and one helper.
